High school students receive a research team from the Faculty of Economics of Universidade Nova Lisboa
A research team from the Faculty of Economics of Universidade Nova Lisboa (Portugal) is today in Brava on a research project to understand the future perspectives of 12th year students, at Escola Secundária Eugénio Tavares (ESET).
As reported, the investigation is at national level and in all secondary schools in Cape Verde, with the aim of informing and trying to understand the decisions of pre-university students and their decisions at the end of secondary education.
“The aim of the group is to help students make more conscious and informed decisions”, he highlighted.
Student Viviane Cardoso, a 12th year Humanistics student, highlighted that they are collaborating with this research, as it brings guidance and information provided by the Portuguese team that are “an added value”.
“Often those of us who are finishing secondary education don’t know or perhaps we may be confused as to which path to take after finishing. Here we are getting some information, what is the path to follow after finishing secondary education and this can help us in the future”, he concluded
